Tamang Society of America (TSA), Tamang Ghedung is a private, non-profit, non-political organization devoted to cultural and social affairs of Nepalese communities. The organization has been established with the following objectives and goals: 

1) To provide necessary means of bringing all Tamangs together as united family.

2) To foster and promote social, cultural and religious events for the better of our Nepalese communities

3) To preserve Tamang cultures and other Nepalese traditional values and Buddhist religion.

4) To provide the assistance to the communities those people who need guidances and helps 

5) To foster the friendship and understanding between Tamangs, Nepalese and other people in the United States; and to improve mutual relationship between Nepalese and American.

As a social and cultural organisation Ghedung will attempt to promote our cultural values among friends of Nepal in America and preserve our Buddhist cultural traditions.

Tamang Ghedung denounce the terrorist acts of September 11. We express our deep sympathy and condolences for the victims of the September the 11th. Our prayers for the victims and their families.
